A process to new understanding...

is this just another misunderstanding?

I think this problem about YJ still bothers quite a number of us... but think about it, may be she has always been like this! just that when she become an EXCO, we set a higher expectation of her...well, maybe one of the reason is me... you see, there are 2 secrets going around, one is WG and her, while the other is me and her... i know it is quite frustrating to be joked at everytime when she is with us... anyway, she is behaving quite OK today... Think we are just thinking too much...

Things that we observed...

This post is a post that talks about our feelings and things that we observed that just doesnt seems quite right...

Everybody can have their own points of views, but these are just what some of us feel and thinks...

First thing first.... about HX,Basically i think that people who are able to be a SC should be capable of a leader. Here I will quote up the example of SH. What is good of her, is that she is able to go along well with everyone in the council. She is very socialble, but nevertheless did not loss her seriousness when talking about serious things. I think this is how a true leader should acquire and i think thats how SH earn her respect from the whole council. With this image of SH in mind we look at HX, We will agree that she is socialble, but not as socialble as SH, and that she does not really seems serious at times when it is suppose to be. The first thing that I notice of her that is different from SH is that, when she gives a speech, she looks at scripts, while SH talks from her hearts, and this act of reading from script usually can not grab the people's attention. I know that HX has being doing her best, but i think if she wants to be a true leader, she has alot more to learn from SH.

Well...coming to the person that i once admire and i hope to once again admire her-YJ. i think all of us noticed that YJ is not behaving like what she is when she first came into the council. At that time, she is the typical person that is enthu about everything and goes very well with us. however, now, we notice that she seems to be drifting away from us... examples, on Friday, When everyone naturally sits in their own commitee, she is not with us... this might look small, but it mean quite alot for us. We all hopes that we can come back to the day when all of us just looks like a family...YJ, if you happen to see this blog, i just want to tell you that, everything that we have done to you has not a tiny bit of bad intention. We really really hope that you can come back to us and really live up to the possition of an EXCO...really...We all thinks highly of you.

Everything written here is not talking bad things behind their backs, but just to point out some of the mistakes that they have make and really hope that they can improve. The 26th council might end early, but i think it is still not too late to change for the better. It is never late to improve.

Tzu Chi Teenage Class January

hahaha......first day in class, knows no one.....

Today, the first day of the class, we arrives at the Tzu Chi foundation at 8:30, well, late for a bit... When we got there, we sit into our groups. i am in group 7, with three group mother and 8 or 9 group member. so, we introduced ourself... blah blah blah... Later, we learn to sing the ci shao hui ge, some thing about " we are the pu sa of tzu chi, we are compassionate and we have the courage to face anything with.... "forgot liao... anyway, then we have our breakfast... Finally its the time for real lesson, so we go into lines, fang zhang, and walk to the first floor, greet the Buddha, then sit down.

from the start, we are told about the thing that has been on the paper all the while-tsunami. we learn about how the Tzu Chi Foundation has been doing to help the people. what i found different of what the foundation is doing from what the other charity society is doing is that, Tzu Chi dont just help the people physically, but mentally as well. Many of the affected people has lost their family members, and they dont just need the foods and things, but more of the courage to live on. Tzu Chi also plans to build "Love Houses" for the people. the govenment is also helping the people by giving the building water and electricity free of charge. Watching the video, looking at how this love from the whole world spread to the south Asia, i feel very happy, for it seems like the whole world is pulled together by this dissaster. I also learn from the Newsweek article that because of this Tsunami, the Tamil Tiger and the Colombo government in Sri Lanka actually comes together to help the people... from my heart, i really think that dissaster is better then war, for war splits the people and dissaser glues the people together. Later, all of us get a candle in hand, and pass the fire to one another until all candles are lighted up. In the sound of silence, we pray for the victims and hope that this world will have no dissaster, including war.

After this, some 6 ci shao come up to the front and share their experiences in the journey back to Taiwan Tzu Chi Foundation base for the new year wishes, and their experience in doing recycling and helping out in the Tzu Chi Hospital in Taiwan. oh i am so jealous!

well, today i learn alot about the Tsunami aftermath, and how the Tzu Chi foundation reach out a helping hand to the affected country. I really look forward to the next lesson on the forth sunday of Feb...
